FUNDAMENTALS PHASE (6-8 YEAR OLDS)
U7/U8 FUTURES ACADEMY
The U7/U8 Futures Academy introduces a team concept and competitive games. There are no scores and standings kept. The program is designed to benefit the young player who has a joy for the game, who has good work habits, and who is motivated to further develop his or her ability. There are competitive 4v4 and 5v5 games. Players will begin to learn the five FUNdamental skills of soccer:
  • Ball control and ball manipulation (using all parts of the foot)
  • Dribbling and running with the ball
  • Passing and receiving the ball
  • Shooting / Finishing
The focus is on individual development while introducing team concepts, sharing the ball, and spacing. This program includes:
  • Two (2) practices per week and one (1) game per weekend
  • 8 week program (Fall and Spring)
Cost: $175.00 per season (+ Uniform Kit)
