UPCOMING EVALUATIONSAt City SC Frederick we offer soccer programs for all levels, ranging from development to competitive travel. We strive to make our player evaluation (tryout) process transparent and smooth for all involved.
EVERY PLAYER is required to register for evaluations, and must attend at least one session to be eligible for team selection for the 2025-2026 season.
2025-2026 SOCCER SUPPLEMENTAL EVALUATIONS
If you are interested in joining a City SC Frederick soccer team for the 2025-2026 season but did not attend tryouts in early May, please register your player and join us on Tuesday, June 3. You may also contact info@cityscfrederick.com to arrange a supplemental evaluation with a current team.

EVALUATION LOGISTICS
- Players must attend at least one session for their age group to be eligible for team selection for the 2025-2026 season
- Players must attend the session for their birth year, NOT the age/level they played in the 2024-2025 season
WHAT TO WEAR AND BRING
- Wear a black or navy shirt with no soccer club affiliation branding
- Wear shin guards, socks, and soccer cleats
- Bring water and a soccer ball
For the 2025-2026 soccer season, competitive/travel teams will continue to be formed based on birth years, and development level teams will be formed based on grade in school (September 1 – August 31). There will be opportunities to sign up for development level teams, separate from annual evaluations.
US Youth Soccer, US Club Soccer, and American Youth Soccer Organization announced in March 2025, that for the 2025-2026 season rostering parameters will not change. For the 2026-2027 season, rostering parameters will be based on school-year calendar (September 1 – August 31).
