Q. Why are we getting new uniforms for the 2026 season?
A. Every two years City SC updates our club uniform kit to align with manufacturer production cycles. The 2026 season marks a new uniform cycle, which means all members are required to purchase a new kit. We are excited to partner with ARETYN to set a new benchmark for premium performance teamwear with a kit that has been uniquely customized for City SC! These uniforms will be used for the 2026-2027 season and the 2027-2028 season.
Q. How do I order?
A. Once you have fully registered in PlayMetrics for the season (including payment setup), our uniform coordinator will contact you to work through jersey number selection and will set up your uniform package to be ordered in the ARETYN portal.
Q. What if I don’t receive the order link from ARETYN in the given timeframe?
A. If you do not receive your order link, please contact Mechele Lerczak at mechele@cityscfrederick.com.
Q. Will my jersey number change from last year?
A. Possibly. With age group and roster changes this year, number changes are inevitable. However, the new package comes with all new items that will contain your new number.
Q. What is included in the uniform package and how much does it cost?
A. The uniform package cost is approximately $400+tax. The package includes 10 items:
Competitive Field Player Kit: Home and Away Jerseys, Home and Away Shorts, Home and Away Socks, Training Jersey, Training Shorts, Warm Up Jacket, Backpack
OR
Competitive Goalkeeper Kit: GK Home and Away Jersey, GK Home and Away Shorts, GK Home and Away Socks, Training Jersey, Training Short, Warm Up Jacket, Backpack
Q. Am I required to order the whole uniform package?
A. Yes. All players are required to order the full uniform package.
Q. My child splits time in the field and in goal. How should I proceed with my order?
A. Select the “Field Player” package to order the complete field player kit. You can add GK uniform items individually. (See below on ordering extra uniform items for step by step instructions.)
Field players who split time in goal can also opt to have their ORANGE TRAINING JERSEY numbered, which can be used as a GK jersey in place of ordering extra GK jerseys. Contact Mechele Lerczak (mechele@cityscfrederick.com) to arrange this.
Q. What is the delivery turnaround time after my order is placed?
A. You can expect to receive your uniform order within four to five weeks once ordered. Note: the earlier you can order the better. Turn around times from ARETYN will get longer as we get closer to the season starting based on overall demand they will receive.
Q. How do I know what size to order?
A. The ARETYN website has a size guide for each item that is rather accurate. We also held several sizing events in June 2026.
Q. How do I order extra uniform items?
A. After adding the uniform package to your shopping cart, you can add extra items using the drop down menu to update the quantities.
Q. I have multiple players in the club. Can I order their uniforms together?
A. Yes. You will be able to search for all of your players on the ARETYN store and order for multiple children on the same order.
Q. Do I have to pay for shipping?
A. Yes, flat rate shipping for uniform orders is $9.75.
Q: How do I order additional items such as warm up pants and fan gear?
A: After selecting sizes for the compulsory uniform package, click “Update Kit”. Then click on the “Collections” section on the left navigation bar to view and add extra items such as jackets, warm up pants, etc.
Q. Can I order extra uniform items and additional items later this season?
A. Yes, you can order extra uniform items and fan gear at any time during the season. You can log in to your player’s portal at any time via the initial link provided by ARETYN to place orders at your convenience.
Q. Can kits be returned/exchanged?
A. No. Kits are not eligible for return or exchange. We strongly encourage all players to get sized prior to ordering. Keep in mind that your child will wear this kit for two seasons.
