We will host tryouts for the 2026-2027 season the weeks of May 4 and 11. The tryout schedule is now posted at cityscfrederick.com/join.
All existing and new players who want to join a team must register in PlayMetrics (see the programs tab) and attend at least one tryout session. Attending both sessions for your age group is encouraged.
Teams for the 2026-2027 season will be formed based on the new US Soccer age group cut-offs (August 1 – July 31).

When evaluating players for teams for the 2026-2027 season, we will evaluate players on multiple factors including:
- (1) the age group their birthdate falls within,
- (2) the grade they will be in for the 2026-2027 school year, and
- (3) their skill level.
On a case by case basis, coaches and our technical director will collaborate to invite people to “play up” for the 2026-2027 season.
